Chambre Pepita
Chambre Pepita has its own story. This was the bedroom of former owner Arthur and his girlfriend Pepita. Arthur met Pepita during a party at the castle in Carlux. She fled in the time of Franco’s reign in Spain. Her husband had been captured in Spain and their children were put up for adoption. Separated from her family, she started a new life in Calviac en Perigord. She moved in with Arthur, in Le Bussou. Years later a young gentleman, who had come cycling from Belgium, came by in search of his birth mother. In the years that followed he frequently visited her in the summer months. He eventually cared for her until her death.
